space... the final frontier. margaret called this weekend an adult weekend for the two of us, but before i could let the thoughts of the adult megaplexxx and plato's playhouse fully cement in my mind she finished up with, "just us, no little kyle running around." oh well. last night we ate the best cajun food i think i have ever had. it's this little hole in the wall place in north austin called sambet's. not only was the food amazing, but the guy that ran the place was incredibly nice. we got there right at eight o'clock, and they were closing up. he unlocked the doors and let us in. he let us sample a lot of what they serve, but he didn't have enough of anything but the red beans and rice and the chicken / sausage gumbo to sell us. INCREDIBLE! so we got a half a muffaletta, three boudin sandwiches and the gumbo and red beans and rice. can you say WAY too much food? tonight i'm going to the salt lick. tomorrow night margaret and i are going out to gruene, tx to see johnny dee and the rocket 88s with some friends of mine from work. what are your plans for the weekend?
