this little web project has been kind of bizarre in terms of how i deal with people. i saw my friend lane on tuesday, and he made the remark that we hadn't seen each other in a long time. i thought this was odd because he sees me everyday--on jimbishop.org, and we talk everyday over email and AIM. then, i tried to remember the last time that i actually in the flesh saw lane. was it july 4th? god, it couldn't have been that long ago. he only lives three blocks from me. we work just a few streets away from each other. no, wait i loaned him some software two weeks ago. oh my god! that was the last time i actually saw lane becker. i find that odd. don't you? i've been substituting this site for actual human interaction. my mother told me she had been missing me over the phone this weekend. i thought, "you see me everyday. you see me more now than you have since i lived with you." it's just not true. i've definitely decided to start the jimbishop Press the Flesh World Tour 2000 starting today, so don't be suprised if i show up on your doorstep wanting to go get coffee at two in the morning. see you soon!
