well, it finally happened. we took kyle to the animal shelter today to look at dogs. we weren't there but fifteen minutes when i was in the office filling out paperwork on one of those adorable little puppies. it was a beagle/dachsund mix; margaret immediately named him "peanut." this fact is interesting because she originally called jellybean peanut; then, she transferred the name to me. now, it goes to a puppy. what does that mean??? our application got denied because our landlord told them we couldn't have the dog because we live on a multi-family property. for those of you that don't know, margaret and i rent a house in this cute little neighborhood in austin (78704), and this horrible woman lives in the garage apartment in our backyard. maybe if we kill her, we could have the dog... um... never mind. while we were thinking the dog situation over, we took kyle to magnolia for lunch. he had a burger and home fries. well, he had half a burger and looked at his home fries. the boy doesn't eat!! i wish i had his problems. after all of that excitement, we went down to south congress. margaret and kyle went to terra toys and bought gummi boogers, a book about cats, a book about horses, and a little plastic cat. i got my hair cut (see picture). i think my haircut moves closer to morrissey everyday. :-) at 10:15 this morning, i'm taking kyle to see "Pokemon 2000." after that, i'm taking off for waxahachie, tx. my friend, james keener, is getting married this weekend, and i'm in the wedding! i'll tell you all about it on monday. kyle is going to garden.com's summer picnic today. there he's going to go fishing.
