for the uninitiated, you should just know that my wife is the most incredible cook ever. for dinner last night, we had her travis county-wide famous chicken pie. it was a fabulous feast to behold. she deviated from her normal recipe and incorporated things from her new southern living cookbook, and as hard as it was for me to believe, it was even better. as you all know, i am my wife's biggest fan, so i often boast about the wonder that is margaret's chicken pie to anyone who will listen. kavita and lee got to sample the goods last night. "the best pie ever," raved kavita. "damn good pie," said lee oatis brown. "makes me want to continue my chicken run boycott," quoth the jim. i love the chicken pie.
