what a delightful fourth of july i had! the only thing missing was jessica pease. she made last fourth of july very memorable. in tribute to her, i shouted, "it's the year 2000!" many times from my back porch, and i called her incessantly during this. :-) anyway, so... lane through a really fabulous fourth of july bash at his house yesterday. it was a byom--bring your own meat--party. it was incredible. we fired up the grill and charred flesh for a couple of hours. so many kinds of meat were partaken of!! margaret and i brought little german sausages, saurkraut, and spicy mustard. mocha jean made the most kick ass korean beef dish i have ever been witness to. bryanboyer (boy wonder, esquire) made his infamous tritip. it was "nummy" with all the garlic and the pepper. heather and ulf brought a variety of weenies, including some salmon franks that were delicious and nutritious. afterwards, several of that crew went down to watch firewords at auditorium shores. some of us decided to kick it "old school" at my house, and watch the neighborhood hooligans shoot off fireworks. many thanks to lane for a fantabulous evening. how was your fourth?
