ever have those mornings when you wake up and just don't feel so pretty?? i had one of those mornings today. i woke up and cut the hell out of my nose shaving. i found this huge pimple over my eye, and worst of all ... i'm still over weight. can you believe it? those pounds didn't melt away while i slept last night. i had a really good weekend. let me tell you about it. friday night, my wife, margaret, and i watched the end of the knicks/pacers game and the beginning of the lakers/trailblazers game. the knicks lost out. so to console ourselves, we went and had dinner at this little french place we like. it was good, and uncharacteristically half full of people. it's usually empty at night. saturday, margaret and i went swimming with a few friends at Pedernales Falls State Park. It was a blast. click here for pictures. it was fun until a large group of pre-teens showed up and started making a lot of noise. sunday was all about movies. sunday morning, margaret and dan and i went to see Sex: the Annabel Chong story. it left me feeling not so good. to clear the nasty porn documentary from our heads, margaret and i went out and rented the 5 hour/6 tape A&E presentation of Jane Austen's Pride and Prejudice. i highly recommend this for a rainy afternoon like our sunday was. i do believe that this was the chickiest chick flic it has ever been my pleasure to witness. :-)
